How to volunteer
The FOWP is run entirely on a voluntary basis. Any and all help you can give is really welcome and valued. The PTA is welcoming and inclusive - it is a great way to get to know other parents, teachers and the school better. We ALWAYS need volunteers to help plan and run events so please volunteer. Ask your class rep for details of how to join the FOWP WhatsApp, keep an eye out for emails from FOWP, or find a trustee (listed below) in the playground!
Meet-Ups
We hold regular meet-ups (when possible) at the school and in the local area. These are a chance for parents to meet up and plan PTA activities.
Everyone is welcome to attend our Annual General Meeting where we nominate and vote in trustees, report on the year, plan for the year ahead, and decide our priorities.

Friends of Wendell Park Committee and Trustees FOWP trustees and committee help guide the charity’s vision, fulfill our legal obligations as a charity, keep things running smoothly, and support fun, meaningful activities for families. Getting involved—whether as a trustee or hands-on volunteer—helps build a warm, inclusive school community. You don't have to be a trustee to get involved or have ideas but we always welcome new trustees. It's a great opportunity to support the school and gives an insight into how charities run. We are really grateful to all our trustees.
