Information from Kensington Aldridge Academy (September 2021)

Kensington Aldridge Academy (KAA) is a state secondary school based in Ladbroke Grove, specialising in performing and creative arts. We have partnerships with LAMDA and the Royal Academy of Dance as well as many connections to theatres and arts projects across London. Students at KAA have lessons in Drama, Music, Dance, Art and DT each week throughout Year 7-9 and can study all of these subjects at GCSE and A Level, with many going onto to study these at University.

Every year we are able to offer 10% (18 places) to our new Year 7 cohort through the Performing and Creative Arts Aptitude Test. This route allows students from outside the catchment area of the school to apply and gain a place at KAA and take part in our PCA Scholar programme, a programme specially designed to aide their development in the arts.
